Fringe debut at the Smirnoff Underbelly with "Des McLean Five Stars"
which achieved critical acclaim and sell-out shows.
In Dec 2002 Des appeared on the
BBC Live Floor Show to a rapturous reception.
His television credits have also
included warm-up with Denise Van Outen and Des has been a regular on
the Fred McAuley Show for the last few years. He has guested on

and Forth FM.
On the live circuit, he has appeared

'I'd be too afraid to come back to
Glasgow to do stand-up, there's a guy called Des Mclean, have you seen
him?'
