Kevin started stand up shortly after his 17th birthday, since
his first gig he has shot through the ranks of the Scottish comedy
scene. He regularly works all over Scotland, most notably at the Stand
comedy clubs in Glasgow and Edinburgh, where he is a regular
headliner, support and resident compere of his own monthly show.
Kevin has achieved a great deal in his
short career and 2005 has seen him perform over 150 gigs and begin to
venture outwith Scotland, performing in London at many of the top
clubs including Saturday nights at the Kings Head and the world famous
Comedy Store.
Kevin also had a highly successful
Edinburgh festival debut where he featured in ‘’The best of Scottish
comedy’’ and was a finalist in Channel 5 / Paramount's ‘’So you think
your funny? 2005’’ competition.
Other career landmarks include,
supporting Scottish TV comedy star Karen Dunbar in front of a sold out
audience at the Ayr town theatre and featuring as the special guest on
BBC Radio Scotland's ''off the ball''
So to 2006, Kevin will be appearing at
the Leicester comedy festival as part of ''Celtic comedy'' and the
following month Kevin will be a key feature in the Glasgow
International comedy festival, performing a solo show and on the
''Glasgow Stands Up'' community tour.
The Future looks very bright for Kevin,
having only recently turned 19 and clocked up invaluable experience at
the top level it's fair to say we will be hearing a lot of him in the
coming years. |
