Phil Nichol! You should know him
by now! Some of you love him, some of you loathe him, but you should
know him by now.
Having spent the last three years making
a name for himself as an actor in the West End smash hits One Flew
Over The Cuckoo’s Nest, Boy George’s Taboo and in Guy
Masterson's Twelve Angry Men at the Assembly Rooms, Phil
Nichol returns to his roots, doing stand-up.
Amongst other things, Phil likes looking
at hunchbacks, gay spiders, Salvation Army camouflage, turkey camps,
Rohypnol and dumping your girlfriend. All get treated with the same
disdain and/or celebration in a twisted rollercoaster of filthy ideas
where it's tranny night every night.
Is Phil is nearly gay or did he neck
passionately with his girlfriend's dad upon meeting him. Meet The
Parents has nothing on him! Hear An Octogenarian Menage A Trois
- the hit single from Mr. Nichol's metal band, Muscle.
Or how about genetically modified mutants finally winning some gold
medals for Great Britain in the Olympics? Trucker songs, rock howls,
tantrum sex and - of course - a little Jazz Ballet lifts this show
above all others and exults it before God...oh yeah!
Of course, words alone cannot do this show justice. Make no mistake,
this is a live act!
Having recently returned from a triumphant appearance at the Just
For Laughs festival in Montreal, go and see him for the gig of a
lifetime.
'Maybe he's just a comic genius who
can take old crap and transform it into something jaw-achingly funny.' List
'hovers between insanity and brilliance' Sunday Times
'Explosively abrasive and buttock-clenchingly funny as
ever......amazingly rabidly good, just go and see him.' Three Weeks
